A. THOMAS ELDER, JR. practices extensively in the areas of casualty insurance, aviation law and products liability. He became Of Counsel to the firm in July 2001. From 1987 to 1995, Mr. Elder chaired the Joint Defense Group and acted as liaison counsel for all defendants in the successful defense of significant hazardous waste and toxic tort coverage claims. His practice includes aviation, products liability, defense of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, including multi-district and class action litigation, insurance bad faith claims and commercial litigation. Admitted to practice in 1970 in Oklahoma, and Colorado in 2003. Mr. Elder is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Elder holds a commercial multi-engine pilot's license with instrument rating and has been licensed as a firearms instructor through the National Rifle Association and the state of Oklahoma for instructing under the state Self Defense Act, Concealed Carry. |
